Periodically (once or twice a year), there is a day where the sanitation department places many huge dumpsters throughout the neighborhood for one day. They do not need to be there a whole day however, this is a competition that is all about speed.
12:00 p.m : A dumpster is placed in front of my house.
12:01 pm: the neighbors have converged on it with their trash.
1:00 pm: It is overflowing. All the dumpsters in the neighborhood look the same way.
It never ceases to amaze me.
